Believers In Christ Ministries established the Christian Academy in 1990. Dr. Cheryl McBride Brown was approached by one of the ministry’s elders, Vera Jones, hearing that the church needed a training academy to serve our community. Several others cosigned the need, and our leader, Dr. Cheryl McBrown, stepped out on faith and obeyed God. Dr. Cheryl McBride Brown left her job as Director of Psychiatric Nursing at the Milwaukee County Hospital, adhering to the vision of God. With little to no resources, the school operated through faith, technical development, and servitude to train the world’s next generation of leaders.

 

As years progressed, the school grew, and the opportunity to become a more effective organization increased. We partnered with the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program to increase our capacity to serve more students within the Milwaukee Metropolitan area. Believers In Christ Christian Academy became a family of families.

 

Our core values embed throughout the organization, and our mission is live in the works. The success of our alums motivates us to continue the work that God has started displaying the evidence of the prophetic vision.
